COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Intermediate First Aid & CPR-C/AED course is designed for workers who need training in first aid and CPR for the workplace or other designated settings. This course meets federal and provincial occupational health and safety regulations and is ideal for responding to a wide range of medical emergencies.
You will learn how to recognize and respond to life threatening and non-life threatening emergencies until help arrives
YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:
Manage an emergency scene safely
Assess and care for choking, respiratory, and cardiac emergencies
Perform CPR and use an AED on adults, children and infants
Control bleeding and care for wounds, burns, and fractures
